The bore fill is very similar in appearance to the [[plug fill], as they both have black plastic caps plugging a hole in the bottom of the grinder. In the case of the plug fill, the hole is drilled straight into the part. In the bore fill, the hole is bored at an angle to the pepper cavity around the grinding shaft. The base also has a crescent shaped divot near the outer edge, so that the black "innie" plug can sit more flush with the bottom.
This design is a step down in complexity from the plug fill, but it is not yet as simple to manufacture as the ring fill.
