The tooth fill is an unusual fill mechanism that was used to create a seamless part with no visible salt or pepper fills. It consists of two plastic pieces that snap together. The salt piece, which is glued into the top and is stationary, is capped with an identical plug to the [[[plug fill]]. The bottom plastic part is fixed to the grinding mechanism, and through four ribs, allows the salt portion to interlock upon it and turn.
It was used on Leminscate (pictured above), and probably on Octagonal Mallet and a variation on Style 895.
