The leminscate has a unique pepper and salt fill (tooth fill) that enables it to have no obvious external openings; instead, it pulls apart into pepper and salt halves. The peppercorns are dropped into the pepper half, and the salt fill is available once the black plastic plug (identical to that used in the plug fill) is removed.
There is a variation with a plug fill instead of the tooth fill
