Style 1616 is, to the best of my knowledge, towards the end of the Quistgaard pepper mills that use the Peugeot mechanism. It also highlights that Dansk catalog numbers aren't perfect -- this same number is used for the Coco Bolo Rectangular Tray that was part of the Rare Wood series (circa 1962).
