Nissen or Nissen (of) Denmark was a woodworking factory in LangÄ, Denmark founded in 1890 and integrated into Bodum in 1990. Many designs were produced by Richard Bent Nissen, a contemporary of Jens Harald Quistgaard.
[edit] Nissen and Dansk
The Nissen factory produced teak and wooden products under contract from Dansk. The staving (lamination) techniques are identical between the two lines, and the craftsmanship is equal in many other ways. In addition, specific pieces share design or construction elements that would be improbable to explain otherwise.
