The nickname of this mill is arch, because of its unusual metal loop/arch. (Those of you paying attention will know that there would have been a namespace collision if I used 'loop' since I already gave that name to a Dansk Designs peppermill.

This design is the one that finally let me know who made these mills. For a very long time, I had no idea. Thanks to the similarity between this design and this ice bucket (which is marked Disgsmed Design), I've finally got an answer to who made these that makes sense. Previously, I believed these mills to be Dansk items, and someone on eBay believes these to be Nissen mills.
